A further revision of our long-standing flagship range has been inspired by our continuous quest for design perfection. Since its triumphant debut in 2005 the Reference range is a showcase of our foremost patented technological breakthroughs like FTDA® conductor damping method (Patent RU No.124834U), SATI® conductor insulation (Patent RU No.124832U) and X-Shield® SE (Super Efficiency) - the latest modification of the Multi-Element Shielding System (Patent RU No.124835U).

Another stunning innovation, pioneered here, is the Distributed Symmetric Conductor - DSC (Patent RU No.2652382U), developed for our top-of-the-line power cords and speaker cables. DSC enables the highest possible group wave speed, provides significant EMI reduction and better noise immunity up to 20-40dB compared to an ordinary conductor. Reduced irradiation determines low and constant impedance in a wider frequency range from DC to tens of MHz. The symmetrical spatial conductor straddling decreases cable distributed capacitance and guarantees near-to-ideal energy and signal transmission with a clearly audible dynamic range extension, sufficient gain in definition along the full frequency range and awesome transparency. Exceptional flexibility derived from a relatively compact outer diameter makes the connection easy and esthetic.

The latest evolution of our flagship speaker cable builds on the ground-breaking DSC (Distributed Symmetric Conductor, Patent RU No.2652382U) architecture. The signal transmission is carried out by two lines consisting of three similar conductors, configured around a central damping SPVC cord in a hexagonal structure 3+3+1 with a maximum packing factor. The phase (L) and neutral (N) conductors are aligned in an alternating ring circuit. DSC enables the highest possible group wave speed, significant EMI reduction and better noise immunity up to 20-40 dB compared to an ordinary conductor. Reduced irradiation determines low and constant impedance in a wider frequency range and guarantees near-to-ideal amplifier-speaker matching regardless of design ethos and specifications. The SATI®/SASDB® insulation/binding combination significantly decreases the relative permittivity and signal energy losses within the dielectric. X-Shield® SE boosts EMI suppression in a wider frequency range from ELF to SHF. An integral multi-stranded BRC drain wire reduces the contact noise in the shield and maintains constant shield impedance at the lowest levels. The Reference DSC SC is jacketed with the highly elastic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) Elastollan® for unrivalled dielectric long-term stability, mechanical strength and efficient absorption of acoustic noise and vibrational loads. Sufficient flexibility derived from a relatively compact outer diameter makes the connection aesthetically pleasing. The gleaming Reference V2 spade & banana connectors made of 10 µ fully gold plated beryllium copper complete the truly meticulous product visualization. DSC design opens the new horizons of dynamics extension, definition and holographic soundstaging. The ability to transmit the fastest and most complex transient impulses results in a fabulous sonic perfection and musicality. The Reference DSC SC exceeds every expectation an audiophile could have of cabling in any implementation or price point. Due to the cable construction complexity and excessive material consumption the initial burn-in period (time during which the best sonic performance is reached) is suggested as 100 hours of uninterrupted music playback at least. We highly recommend playing music of different genres.
