Micro-Precision was founded in 1999 to improve existing speakertechnology. In the beginning Micro-Precision modified existing, well known products. After some time, the limitation of existing constructions could not be accepted any- more. We decided to go our own way, did not care about cost & time because a new target was focused; the construction of a 100% precise product without the limitations of massproduction. Z-Studio was born in the year 2007. The great expertise and investment in CNC technology gives us the possibility to produce parts with „zero-tolerance“. The 44 CNC parts to build one tweeter have a tolerance of 1/1000mm. The construction is engenierd and assembled in Germany in our own factory.

     A pair of Z-Studio´s is a selected pair of fine mechanic work. Each pair is handmade. We  produce our own magnets and a matched pair of membranes to find the best possible performance for one set. Each pair has a serialnumber and a registration in our system.

3. Z-Studio 130 - fullbodyéd midrange.
4. Z-Studio 170 - fast bass and clear mid´s.

     All this models can be combined because each item has a wide range of frequencyresponse and cooperates with the next driver in a perfect way. In a multiple channel setup its important having the possibilty to work arround the best point of frequence-dividing. With the Z-Studio products the area of possible frequency dividing is extended in a way you will not believe.
 

     The Z-Studio range shows, now after four years of research and development, five exclusive products to satisfy all listeners. All products follow the same philosophy. Only a stiff and lightweighted membrane can follow the accelleration ! The tweeter has a moving mass <> 0.3 gramm. This extreme low moving mass gives the possibility to reproduce every detail with full dynamic and without distortion. The midranges benefit because of the extreme stiffnes from the „resinfoam bet- ween 6µm Aluminiumfoils“ (patented 1935 in Germany, still produced in the 2nd generation).

     This high-tech membrane is handmade and the average productionquantity is 1 piece per day. The membrane contents more then 80% air in the resinfoam. Lowest weight combined with a maximum of stiffnes and perfect acoustical beha- vior is achieved because the membrane is based on natural materials. Can you imagine to use these perfect membranes in a perfect chassis ? We could and
prorduced it, by using the finest CNC technology.
